    There's no blow torch required to enjoy this Backpacker's Pantry sweet and satisfying twist on creme brulee.

    • To prepare the creme brulee, simply remove the sugar topping packet and set it aside; add 3/4 cup of cold water to filling mix and beat briskly with 2 forks for 2 min.
    • Sprinkle brulee sugar topping over top of filling, let sit for 10 min. and enjoy

      I tend to get chocolate bars for dessert but took a package of creme brulee for a special treat on our eight-day Grand Canyon hike. It was worth it. Easy to prepare ( I recommend a spoon and bowl), rich tasting with a great crunchy caramel topping--the dessert surprised me with how good it was. I was so surprised that I bothered to write this review.
