Comments about Electra Townie 21D Step-Through Women's Bike - 2013:

My wife selected this bike after trying out a few in-store. Very comfortable and the flat-foot design provides for a secure feel while on the bike. We wanted to go with the 21 speed to allow for a bit of climbing on hills. It's a Townie, so it's not meant to be the lightest bike out there, but that seat sure is comfortable. Be sure to get a cross bar (Yakima makes one) if you intend to transport on a rear bike rack. Bought along with a Quick 4 for myself and REI did a great job on delivery and even helped us out to the car.
