    I bought this case for my recent trip to Baja, Mexico. I rode my motorcycle from Denver to Cabo, and back. This case did a great job of protecting my iPad. I spent a lot of time camping on the beach. No sand or water got into the case. The case wasn't obtrusive when I stayed in hotels and didn't need the extra protection. I left the iPad in the case the entire trip. As a matter of fact, it's still in the case now that I'm home. The only thing I didn't like was the headphone jack access. You have to use a cord and it's kind of a pain. It would be better if they could design it so the jack was accessible by opening a small or hatch or something.

      I am returning from a three week motorcycle trip in Baja, Mexico. I used this case to protect my iPad on the bike, and camping. It worked perfectly. Besides offering total protection in harsh environments (beach!), it wasn't cumbersome for normal use. I instantly got used to the extra size and weight. I didn't notice it when using the tablet in hotels or cafes. I wonder if I'll take it off when I get home.
