    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromLove but wish there were more color options!!! Awesome! My BF picked up one of these in black the last time we went on an REI run and I use it more than he does probably. I want my own but wish it was offered in red or blue like they have in the smaller sizes. We love the size as you're not constantly refilling and technically it's your "8 glasses a day". We both love it for day long outdoor volleyball in the sun. Haven't tried it with hot liquids yet as it is summertime but we are excited to try it for that too. It's so great to have cold water ALL day without having to pack it in a heavy cooler as well. It IS a little big for water bottle pockets in most standard bags but I just throw it in the large pocket of my gym bag and it works just fine. LOVE it!

by fromAmazing Ice Retention Purchased this flask because I am tired of hot water in the summer. I filled it with ice and water on a Thursday morning. We went to Out of Africa Wild Animal Park all day long in 100 degree plus heat. Came back to Flagstaff and filled it again with water only on Friday morning. Went to work the next morning which was Saturday and emptied it out and there was still ice in it. Absolutely blew my mind.

by fromAwesome water bottle I take this to class with me and it stays cold all day long. I've added different water flavorings to it and they never retain the flavors, which is what I didn't like about Nalgene

by fromAmazing! This is an amazing product. We filled it with hot tap water and put it outside at 18:30. Over night temp was -28 F. By 22:30, the water temp was 84F. At 13:30 (19 hrs later) the water temp. was 69F. No ice, no freezing. It set outside, in the in the ground cover in snow, all day. At 21:44 ( 24hrs and 14 minutes later) The water temp was 53 F. still no freezing, no ice.... Like I said, Amazing.

by fromWorth every dime! If you want something to keep your coffee hot and water cold for a two day camping trip, buy the Hydro Flask! Don't be afraid to spend the money they ask if you plan on using it. I will be honest with you and say, if you're going to use this only once a year car camping, don't buy it, but if you have other uses for the flask besides camping, it's worth every dime. I use a Hydro Flask everyday by taking coffee to work in the 64 oz and water in the 40 oz and love it! One tip, buy a different cap if you use yours for coffee and switch it out if you use it for other drinks because the lid will retain the smell and if I put water in after washing you will still smell the coffee and I can't really get the odor out. Coffee seems to be the only thing that effects this though.

by fromICY COLD Finally, a huge insulated bottle. I love the size of this bottle, I will no longer run out of ice cold drinks when I hike , it is worth the weight and money. I also like the texture of black bottle. All my coworkers like it.I just wish it had a SS cap, but it is still a solid 5 stars.

by fromStays cool forever I recently moved to San Antonio from Seattle, so I figured "Gosh, cold water will probably come in handy." So I bought this and love it. I keep it in the fridge and whenever I go hiking I toss it in the car for 'after trip' ice cold water. In a classic bit of idiocy I went to tour the battleship Texas one day. I figured, ahh, short walk, I won't need any water. Wandered around the battleship for an hour or two then left. I noticed "hey, I can see the San Jacinto monument only a half mile away, I'll walk over there." Once I got there it was "hey, there are a bunch of paths into the Santa Anna Bayou to wander through." So my short tour of the battleship turned into a 5 hour meander. Without water. In temperature just shy of 100 degrees. Got back to the car where my hyrdo flask had sublime ice cold water. This after sitting in the car for a three hour drive, then sitting in the car (in the bright sun) in 99F weather. I'd imagine the car got up to what, 120 degrees? So after cooking in 120 tempature for hours, this flask kept the water delightfully cold. It is a bit big and heavy/bulky to take in a backpack, or on lengthy day trips, but as a font of delicious cold water that stays cold forever, this can't be beat. If I had a water Sherpa I'd take it everywhere. As it is, every time I go hiking/day tripping/back packing I toss this into the car for after hike ecstasy. I got the black one, I don't know of the stainless steel would stay cool even longer. I haven't tried to keep hot liquid in it, because I find Texas quite warm enough as it is.
