This product unfortunately has not been tested outside yet, but it will very soon! It has only been tested inside, but my family loved it! There are a lot of pockets on the inside, which was a surprise to me as I have been disappointed with most tent's pockets size. Don't be disappointed about the size of the pockest in this tent! There is also an attachment for a lantern overhead. I will update this review once it actually gets outside but first impressions are that this is a quality tent. The only downside that I think is the tub bottom. I like tents that the door goes to the floor. This is primarily so my kids don't trip over the lip, but it is not bad at all. I have not yet tried out the vestibule because the living room is too small. Soon, winter will leave and camping will begin. . .

This was an awesome value. Plenty of room, sets up in a snap, kept us dry during a storm, and resisted 30 mph wind. It did its job beautifully.

Comments about Big Agnes King Creek 6 Tent - 2012 Closeout:

My wife prefers the luxuries of a hotel but is willing to try camping so I needed a roomy tent to provide maximum comfort for my wife and kids (ages 4 & 2). I researched several family tent options and the King Creek 6 received great reviews.

The tent comes in a well-organized bag with sturdy poles and stakes. We set this up in the backyard over the weekend. Super simple to set up. I had the freestanding tent up in less than 10 minutes with the help of my 4 year old son. I had the rainfly on in another 5 minutes. Didn't even look at the directions. With two adults it should be even easier. I also recommend purchasing the footprint.

The tent is really roomy and I can stand up straight at 6 feet tall. Two doors provide easy access and the front vestibule is HUGE. This was a major selling point as some other family tents charge extra for that kind of space. It will come in handy on family trips for storing extra gear, chairs, bikes, etc. It will also be a nice shelter from inclement weather.

My son and I spent the night in it after setting it up in the backyard. It rained for about four hours and not one drop of water made it inside.

We have a trip planned for May and cannot wait to try it out with the full family. High quality product at a great price.
