Comments about Brunton Nomad V2 Pro Digital Altimeter - 2012 Closeout:
This device seemed to be OK initially, like a regular watch, it was working when I got it out of the box. The instructions were complicated and counter-intuitive, however, it was functioning for a while in a way that I needed. And then it just stopped working for no obvious reason: I did NOT drop it or dip in water or anything. I tried to open the battery lid, it's supposed to be done using a coin. After 10 minutes of futile efforts I realized that the only effect was almost destroying the groove in the lid, the plastic was very soft, and the lid was closed extremely tightly. So I gave up: if I cannot even change battery (dead battery may be the reason for not working), then I'd rather return it.
