Comments about humangear GoToob Bottle - 1.25 fl. oz. - Package of 3:
I use these products every day, as an athlete showering at the gym. I was apprehensive at first because of the cost, but these are by far the most convenient and quality bottles out there. They also do not leak during air travel. They have worn very well also, given the daily use. Well worth the money.

I find that these gotoobs leak with non-viscous liquids on the airplane. If you put something like lotion in the gotoobs they don't seem to leak, but the container absorbs moisture. Don't put any silicon-based products in the gotoobs because it causes the container to disintegrate.

Comments about humangear GoToob Bottle - 1.25 fl. oz. - Package of 3:
I was looking for liquid containers that are smaller than the 3 oz. TSA limit. Many of our plane trips are short enough to use carry-on luggage only - I didn't need 3 ounces of any liquid to get me through a few days or long weekend, and the partially-filled 3 oz. containers took up valuable space in my zip-top bag. This 1.25 ounce size is perfect for shorter trips. The seals are great - I didn't have any leakage issues, including my styling gel. I was able to get 5 GoToobs, travel toothpaste, small hand lotion tube, and several other travel liquid containers into my quart-size bag - brilliant!
Since the tubes are made of silicone, they're sticky on the outside, so getting them into the zip-top bag takes a little maneuvering, but it's certainly not impossible to accomplish.
The opening is wide enough to easily fill the tubes. I haven't rinsed or washed them yet, however, I believe that won't be a problem. The content labels are great, too. However, they can be a bit hard to read when you don't have your glasses on in the shower :) . That's why I purchased five different colors - so I could determine the contents by the color of the tube in addition to the label on the collar.
Whoever invented the GoToob had a great idea! They cost more than cheap travel bottles, but they're worth it, in my opinion. I doubt I'll have to purchase travel liquid containers for a very long time.

I travel a great deal. I was looking for small travel bottles for Shampoo, Conditioner, and Face Soap that would not leak. These leak! The conditioner seems to be OK due to the thicker fluid; however, the shampoo and face soap leaked everywhere. I tried filling the bottles half way, but still leaked. I like the size, feel, and looks. If they were 100% leak proof, they would be the best. I'm disappointed.

Comments about humangear GoToob Bottle - 1.25 fl. oz. - Package of 3:
I was very interested in this product, newly innovated liquid travel containers. However I was very disapointed when I used them. The problem is in part it's design. You have to squeeze relatively hard to get the liquid out. If you have a watery, thinner liquid, it shoots out. Much more than you need.
My old travel containers would hold roughly the same amount and last almost 2 weeks. These didn't make it 4 days because too much came out every time I used it. It left me in kind of a bad situation.

Comments about humangear GoToob Bottle - 1.25 fl. oz. - Package of 3:
I spend over 200 days a year on the road. In 2008 I stopped trying to find 3.4oz bottles and just started checking my bag to ensure I could get some of the comforts of home on the road. While at REI shopping for Christmas I saw these bottles and thought to myself, "hmmm, wonder if they work". So I bought 6 of them. I filled them up with my personal liquids of choice, and got all 6 bottles in my 1 quart bag along with mouth wash and toothpaste. These are just an awesome buy and idea. based on my trips so far, you can get about 4/5 days out of this size!

Awesome things:
-Easy, easy, easy, to clean/refill
-Doesn't leak, even with Bronner's inside (a very thin soap that likes to leak)
-Packable and durable
-Drip free
-Lets you buy product in bulk to save packaging waste
-Lets you travel with your preferred products, even if it's not readily available in "travel size" packages -- like Tom's of Maine toothpaste.
Less Awesome things:
-Cap is susceptible to cracking if dropped when COLD. But the company will send you free replacements if you call!
-Can be a little slippery in soapy/lotiony hands
-Tends to over-dispense thin liquids - use a "shallow jab" technique to get small amounts
The smallest size is good for toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner. The biggest elevation change i've carried one though without opening it was about 4500 feet and it didn't "balloon" like some people have seen, but I haven't put these in very hot cars and i bring them in my carry-on. There is a trick to making them truly leakproof: You have to hold the plastic ring (where you select the contents) and tighten the cap against that -- if you hold the 'toob', the plastic ring spins and doesn't snug up very well. I've used mine for about 2 years of plane travel (i find they fit well in a 3-1-1 bag), car camping, and backpacking. I like them so much that i'm considering putting food in them for no-mess camping: creamy peanut butter, Nutella, margarine...
