The La Sportiva Raptor trail-running shoes feature neutral support and great traction, giving you comfort and protection while logging miles on the trail.
- Synthetic leather uppers have ventilating nylon mesh for reduced weight and enhanced breathability; toe caps protect toes from bumps and abrasion
- Thermoplastic urethane (TPU) lacing harnesses supply a secure, snug fit; external TPU heel structures offer additional stability and protection
- Nylon mesh linings on tongue and back half of shoe wick moisture to help keep feet dry
- Dual-density EVA midsoles provide ample cushioning and light support
- Molded nylon shanks modulate toe spring and offer additional stability
- Sticky rubber outsoles deliver excellent traction and a smooth, resilient ride on varied terrain

Comments about La Sportiva Raptor Trail-Running Shoes - Men's - 2011 Closeout:
I have been using these mostly for trail running and some road running. They work for road running but they really are a trail shoe. They grip very well in all different terrain- muddy, sandy, up hill, down hill. I even used them rock climbing on a 5.7.
The toes turn up which I don't love but not too bad.
