The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Had to buy. New pair after I used my last pair into the ground. Last pair I bought a half a size larger. This year with a wider toe area I bought my normal size and they were perfect!

I have problems wearing regular tennis shoes and any type of closed toe shoe. These shoes feel like I am barefooted. So lightweight and comfortable. The toe box is large enough so that there is no pressure to cramp my toes. Wish they came in more variety of colors!

Had to return. This shoe was purchased for walking and I did not feel it would give me any traction or support to ease the task.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove 2 Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
I have a somewhat odd shaped foot, wide at the ball with an extremely narrow heel and ankle. I also have a pretty high arch so for years I have been looking for shoes to support them. I wanted to try barefoot shoes for a while, but I am not a fan of the five fingered look, and I was convinced that I needed the shock absorption from thick soled cushy shoes. I was skeptical that they would be comfortable but when I saw these shoes I decided to give them a shot.
I love them. They fit perfectly. Perfectly. There is a bit of elastic along the top that really pulls the shoe snugly against your foot. It is light and almost feels like a sock or slipper only with a super gippy bottom. I also have unreasonably hot feet when I work out, but that hasn't been a problem with these shoes. I just hope the antimicrobial treatment hangs in there a while.
A word to the wise, even if you normally stroll around barefoot or with minimal shoes on, I do think you need to be careful when you first get these. Ease into runs and work outs. My feet didn't need to adjust as much as the supporting muscles in my legs and bum.
Great shoe. I'm actually going to pick at least one more pair to hold in reserves for when I wear this pair out and I think I may actually get the other color to wear when working in the garden.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove 2 Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
I wear my Pace Glove 2s as often as I can, because they encourage good alignment and walking/running/standing form. I wear them on "jean day" at work, while lifting weights, and while running (pavement and treadmill). I haven't been trail running in them yet. They really are so comfortable! However, there is a spot around each toe where the top meets the sole where the adhesive seems to be coming apart. I'm a bit worried about that; I'm concerned that the separation is going to keep spreading. Also, I've noticed that they are pretty slippery on tile if they are wet. Overall, though, I am very pleased with these shoes. They have alleviated a lot of the back and knee pain I was having before.
