Used this bag for the first time last night. It was warm, soft, comfortable and roomy. I was on a one night backpack in SoCal, so I cannot say what it would be like on a super cold night. I am guessing quite toasty, though. It packed up very small.

Used this sleepbag on a two night backpacking trip in TN. Exactly what I was looking for! Packed small and easy into a compression bag. Zipper was easy to open/close, no snagging. Temps dipped into 30s and I was comfortable with long sleeves and light pants through the night.

Comments about Big Agnes Fria +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Regular - 2012 Closeout:

I've only used it a handful of times so far, but it's kept me warm every time. I haven't tried it at 15 degrees weather yet, but I don't doubt its abilities. It's light and it packs pretty small... I don't have a compression sack, but even with just a normal stuff sack I'm able to just sling it over my shoulder and go.

One other thing: my friend tried it out and said it felt like heaven... It's so fluffy! I'm sure it will get more packed in with use, but as of now it's pretty much perfect.

Comments about Big Agnes Fria +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Regular - 2012 Closeout:

I bought this as a gift so I can't comment on it's warmth and comfort, however, it appears to be well designed and constructed, and the high loft suggests it will be as warm as it's supposed to be. Because my daughter was bothered by the cold air getting in at the top of the sleeping bag she had borrowed, I picked this sleeping bag for her, in part, for the drawstrings around the face and neck. There is a down-filled collar around the chin to keep the drawstring sleeve from resting directly on the face. This design should effectively keep the cold air out and still be comfortable.

At 3 pounds it is not the lightest bag out there, but it's an acceptable weight and probably as light as your're going to get at this price. I think this bag, at its discounted price, is a very good value. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it hasn't been used yet so I can't post a complete review. If I could confirm that it's as warm as it's supposed to be I would give it a 5.

Comments about Big Agnes Fria +15 Sleeping Bag - Women's Regular - 2012 Closeout:

My husband has the Grouse Mountain and this appears to be the same bag/same dimensions as his. I am 5'6" and have broad shoulders so I went with the regular size. Petite might have been fine but the clearance price decided for me. All that said, this bag is warm and comfy on a air pad. Zippers do snag a bit. Overall, one of the nicest bags I have had.
