I bought this dutch oven because it has the lid that can hold coals and it has legs. I thought that the enamel was on the interior AND on the exterior. I find that foods cook very well but the dutch oven is difficult to clean on the inside because it is so rough. I won't be using it as much as I thought I would because cleanup is so difficult. I may try to polish someday.

We've been exploring Dutch oven cooking the last few months. This was a little smaller than what we've been using, was on sale, and I liked the enameled exterior. We've cooked breads, pork chops, stews, etc in it. The best thing about it, is one can do a one pot dinner for several people, easily and use less than two dozen briquets.
