I love my CamelBak bottle! So much that this is my second glass one. I also have a metal one for biking. The rubber protector on the glass bottle keeps the sweat from rolling down the bottle --even when filled to the brim with ice on a hot summer's day. It also serves as a buffer when the bottle is dropped. Did I mention they were durable!?!

I bought this water bottle in the Purple and I love it. It is a very pretty color. I use the bottle for everyday water drinking purposes. The bottle is durable. I wish the capacity was a little larger as I have to fill up frequently. It takes a little while longer than normal to clean as you need to take the lid/straw apart, but it's worth it as I never have problems with water leaking.

This is a great option because it's glass. I've already dropped it several times, and it doesn't break!
I would have rated it higher, but it has a straw, which I'm unclear how hygienic it will be after long-term use.

there is something about this bottle that makes me want to grab it. i love the throwback nature of the glass bottle, and the sheath around it makes it easy to hold without slipping. it is easy to clean. i like filling it the previous evening and putting it in the refrigerator so it's very cold the next morning - then i put it in an insulated carrier, which keeps it cold and helps protect the glass.

on the downside, this weighs quite a bit more than a comparable plastic bottle. and, though it hasn't be an issue for me, dropping a glass bottle might not be ideal.

i see this less as a great option for people who use a water bottle regularly in their home, office or car, or otherwise carry water around but don't plan to expose the bottle to much abuse. because it is glass and easy to clean, it might be a better option for juices and teas that might stain or leave an odor in a plastic bottle.
