This is my first clipless shoe. While this shoe is identified as a mountain bike shoe, I use it for short-haul touring on a hybrid bike, e.g., trips around 100 miles. This shoe is easy to walk in, yet provides the stiffness and stability that I was looking for. I've found that the efficiency of my pedal stroke is greatly improved and my endurance is increased. I've only had them for about a month, so I can't too much about how they wear over time.
