sturdy strapsThese are nice straps with a rather high weight limit probably due to the use of aluminum for the buckle. They are more cord-like (3/8" wide) and can be used for a multitude of uses other than just strapping something to my backpack. I have 2 pairs of these and that adds up to approx. 12 feet of at least #200 test cord. I use them on my: bicycle trailer, pull sled, backpack and all around the campsite. They are easy to cinch and release. Also easy to "daisy chain" together to make a longer cord.

Funky adjustment, but do their jobI use these primarily to lash a 10/15L compression sack containing my sleeping bag to the bottom lashing points of a 65L North Face Terra backpack
Overall, they do the job that they were intended for. They can take a little getting used to when it comes to cinching them tight - you've got to get the angle just right, and it requires two hands unlike a compression sack cinch strap. Once they are in place though, the straps are sturdy and do not move.
Plenty long - around a 10L or 15L sack you will have lots of strap to spare (and tuck in elsewhere).
They have a moderate amount of give if not tied down super tight, due to the nature of the fabric that the webbing is constructed with.
Overall, these aren't my favorite straps, but they do tie things down well and I have bought a couple pairs, so would recommend to a friend.
