Comments about Fox Ranger Cargo Mountain Bike Shorts - Men's 12" Inseam:

I have bought two generations of this product so far. They have improved it significantly over time, from the liner, to the fabric, and closure. I have the Sergents also but they are too heavy. As a testement to the strength of the shorts I'll share my experience. I recently took a fall and had a cedar branch stab me in the lower thigh right below the liner. The branch was about an inch in diameter. It went in to my leg about an inch and resulted in 3 internal and five external stiches. The shorts streached but did not tear. I know it would have been a lot worse if I was wearing any other brand of short. You can barely tell where the branch hit, just a tiny streach mark. Aside from the limb saving toughness of the shorts they are simple (not goofy, no crazy race patterns) and stylish. They always transition well to after ride brews. I bought two more pairs!
