    • NOW PLAYING

Keep the cold weather at bay and your engine warm with the Kelty Ignite DriDown™ 16°F sleeping bag that stays warm and dry with revolutionary down insulation.

    • Regular down takes on water and is very difficult to dry; the DriDown proprietary process treats each individual duck down plume with a hydrophobic finish
    • With the down now resistant to water, the insulation maintains its loft and stays dry 7 times longer than untreated down
    • It also performs better in high humidity than regular down, and in case it accidentally gets wet, it will dry out faster, too
    • Baffle construction with differential cut eliminates cold spots; inner layer is cut smaller than the outer layer to create consistent thickness of insulation
    • Tough, 30-denier ripstop nylon shell provides durabilty; polyester lining breathes for comfort and feels great against skin
    • Top baffle draft collar drapes comfortably over neck and shoulders, sealing out drafts
    • Formfitting hood has drawcords of differing widths at head and neck for easy identification and adjustment in the dark
    • Ground-level side seam keeps draft tube in place, further helping to prevent cold air from seeping through the 2-way, locking zipper
    • Internal loops provide attachment for a liner (sold separately) to increase the warmth of the bag
    • Pad loops provide attachment points to keep your sleeping bag and pad together, so you needn't worry about rolling onto the cold, hard ground (straps sold separately)
    • Hang loops allow easy drying and storage
    • Kelty Ignite DriDown 16°F sleeping bag comes with a stuff sack

Comments about Kelty Ignite DriDown 16 Sleeping Bag:

Solid bag for a great price. Splurged the extra cost for the Dridown because that's nice insurance against wetness. Bag compresses nicely, is very comfy, and kept me plenty warm on our Easter backpack in Virginia with evenings down into the low 30s. Good purchase...

Comments about Kelty Ignite DriDown 16 Sleeping Bag:

When this arrived I couldn't believe that the temperature rating was correct, it just didn't seem possible for such a compact bag. I tried it out in my apartment with the heat off and didn't think it was that warm. I was concerned because I was taking it to Nepal to do a trek on the Annapurna circuit. While we weren't strictly camping we would be needing sleeping bags in the teahouses that are made out of plywood and have no heat. This bag far surpassed my expectations. It was warm on the cold nights in the Himalayas and some nights I was even hot and had to take my arms out. I would recommend this bag for about 20-25F comfortably, about what I used it for. The zipper does snag a lot but that is the only problem I have found with it so far.

Comments about Kelty Ignite DriDown 16 Sleeping Bag:

This is by far the best sleeping bag I have slept in so far. It is very comfortable and kept me very warm while camping in Moab in February. The lining on the inside is very soft and the sleeping bag is roomier than you think. Great bang for the buck! However, I have only used it once so we'll see how weathers through time!

Comments about Kelty Ignite DriDown 16 Sleeping Bag:

I bought this bag to stay warm on a 7 day canoe trip with night weather ranging from 24F to 40f. I froze every night the temp went below 32f. Admittedly I sleep colder than most men so take that for what its worth. I'll buy a warmer bag now.

Major positive is that I was using a marginal tent and there was a lot of water coming in my tent one night. Bag stayed dry as a bone. My dry bag got water in it one day and the sleeping bag stayed dry as a bone. I'd gladly take a zero degree bag like this, but that temp rating was inaccurate for my blood.
