    • The new NEMO Spoon Shape is wide in the shoulders, tapers to hips and then gently flares back out to allow room for the natural bend and shift of knees
    • DownTek™ 700-fill-power duck down repels water by employing nano technology and a proprietary process to apply a micro-thin polymer to the down
    • DownTek down repels water and maintains loft and insulation value, even in the wettest conditions
    • Proprietary application process creates a water repellent, antimicrobial and antibacterial down insulation that actually floats on water
    • A nifty little feature in the hood is the tuckable Blanket Fold™, an insulated flap of fabric that can be wrapped around neck to block drafts and add a layer of warmth

    NEMO Nocturne 30 Sleeping Bagis rated4.1818out of5by11.
Rated3out of5byfromGreat concept, poor executionI have used this sleeping bag on numerous trips for the 2013 season. Multiple summer trips with temps down into the mid 50's, and high 40's. The bag revealed cold spots on the bottom on one trip where the temps dropped down into the low 40's. As previously mentioned by another reviewer, the amount of down in the bottom of the bag is minimal. I contacted "Nemo" in an attempt to have additional down added to the bag. They informed me that this is not possible and not done by the company. I used my local shop "The Down Works", who were able to add down to my bag. I will provide a review of the bag's performance for the 2014 season.

Rated4out of5byfromNiceVery usefull on last 12 day trip in 70F night desert temp, and 8,000 feet 35F mountain, very light and compact, easy to pack. Would love to exchange for little wider at the shoulders. But I do not know if it is available, other than that very roomy and comfortable. Would be nice to know how a 32F is rated? is it survivle temp. or useable temp.?

Rated5out of5byfromA Great Night's SleepI purchased this bag because of its shape and Backpacker Magazine reviewed it positively. When the box arrived, I spread it out on my bed and crawled inside and giggled. It was so roomy, lightweight and fluffily. I used it on a 5 night backpacking trip on the North Country Trail - Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore section. I was very comfortable and didn't experience the hot sticky feeling I get with my other down bag. It fluffed up nicely at night even after being compressed all day and after damp and rainy nights along Lake Superior. Lots of little extras such as, a pillow pocket in the hood, a small pocket to stuff the hood cord and a zipper pocket for small stuff. I am 5' tall and had so much room that I could roll around all night while the bag never twisted up on me. I was in heaven and slept great! The price tag was worth the good night's sleep.

Rated4out of5byfromDuck DownI sleep on my back with my legs in the figure 4 position so the guitar case shape of the bag suits me. It is not as sweaty as some other bags I have used. You can adjust zippers and the hood to dial in the right temperature. I have not gotten it wet. I was surprised to find the "do not remove" tag identifying the filling as duck down. The REI info does not mention this fact and duck down is usually associated with bargin products which this bag was not. I have a duck down parka that that has held it's loft for 30 years but I feel that duck down does not compress as well as goose down. The stated 700 fill power is very high for duck down which makes me wonder if it is accurate. It still is a decent bag so if you need the leg room this is for you.

Rated2out of5byfromRoomy but missing down in key spotsI've only tried this bag once on a cool coastal night. The bag had cold spots so when I took it back home and held it up to the light I could see large spots where you could see through the fabric and no down was present. Given how expensive this bag was I was extremely disappointed. I've tried hanging it different ways to see if I can get the down to redistribute but i've had no luck.

Rated4out of5byfromI'm melting!I'm 5'10" and I got the long bag. I would have regretted the regular bag. The length is perfect. A little roomy for some but I get claustrophobic if I feel wrapped up like a mummy. I've used this bag on 5 different occasions. It was in the 30's on all but one of the nights which was around 45. (3 times at Ridge Camp, Mt. Saint Helens and the other 2 times at Stagman Ridge, Mount Adams.) While the bag is very comfortable and its the only bag I've tried that does not slide around on my sleeping pad, its extremely hot. I was TOO hot each night. Slept uncovered in my SmartWool long underwear, instead. I'm sad to return this bag because I realize I'm back to searching for an ultralight bag that is NOT a mummy bag.

Rated5out of5byfromI love this bagI love this bag, I am somewhat claustrophobic in mummy bags but I find the Nocturne to be just roomy enough for me to be comfortable. Temps dropped into the 40's on my first trip with the bag and I stayed plenty warm, I'm sure it would be fine into the 30's for me. can't comment on durability yet but I have no concerns after the first few uses. If you hate mummy bags this may be your ticket to comfort, I love it.

Rated5out of5byfromAwesome warm sleepUsed the Nemo on the first night on the North rim of Grand Canyon, temperature dropped to 28, had freezing rain! I stayed warm and dry, I had to remove my jacket and socks! I was able to roll around without feeling confined..Will never go back to my mummy....
