I bought this shoe 2 years ago in NYC because a month of walking there was killing my feet. Once I put them on, that was it, I practically slept in them. They are soooo comfortable, true to size, and lots of adjustments straps. The arch support and footbed are wonderful. I am buying a second pair to replace those and am sorry that it says "close out". I hope Merrell is not discontinuing such a wonderful shoe. As far as fashion and trendy, no. These shoes are for comfort and walking.
