    • Lightweight down-insulated sleeping bag is used together with the included sheet and 2 sleeping pads (sold separately) to create a multifunctional double bed
    • Cover 2 sleeping pads (sold separately) with the included sheet, then snap the DreamWalker to the sheet to keep it in place throughout the night
    • Slide your feet inside the built-in foot bag at the bottom of the DreamWalker for extra insulation; if too warm, stretch your feet out under the foot bag
    • Side baffles on the quilt prevent cold air from entering along the edges
    • Soft sheet is comfortable next to skin; mesh sides prevent moisture on the floor of your tent from migrating up the sheet
    • Drawcords keep the sheet snug around your sleeping pads
    • Flip the DreamWalker in half and snap it to itself to create a rectangular down sleeping bag for solo use
    • Wear the DreamWalker DUO as an insulated poncho to keep you warm while you're hanging around camp; zippered slit in the middle of the quilt serves as a head opening
    • 2 zippered pockets allow each person to store small items within reach
    • The Exped DreamWalker DUO 400 sleeping bag includes a stuff sack and storage sack

Exped DreamWalker DUO 400 Sleeping Bag - Doubleis rated4.5out of5by2.
Rated5out of5byfromsweet!My wife and I head out on bicycle tours every summer, and we like each other enough that climbing into separate bags at night just feels ridiculous. We've used the Duo in a three-week bicycle tour of the Sierra Nevada range in CA, and have been very happy with it. It's basically like bringing a bed & blanket into the backcountry, and it's warm, light, and packable. We stayed comfortable on a couple of nights that dropped below 35ºF, and for packability reference, I stuff this bag, two BA pads & pillows, and my BA CSUL3 tent (minus poles) into one Ortlieb Backroller pannier. Not bad. Unlike SpookyAction, I haven't found any significant design problems with the Duo. The single pad connector has held our pads together perfectly well. (I actually brought coupler straps in case of pad drift, but never had cause to use them. Maybe this is pad dependent: the Big Agnes pads we're using are quite a bit "stiffer" than the NeoAir, so they may lash together better than other pads.) We also both liked the top-sheet fabric. We both found it soft, and neither of us found it sticky. Highlights: *You can wash the top sheet without washing the bag (yay!) *The quilt is much more adaptable than a zippered bag: you can pull it over your shoulder, stick your feet out, throw it off completely--basically everything you can do with a blanket. *No zippers keep the edges light and soft *No zipper pulls to hit you in the face *Snuggling = warm Lowlights *A tiny bit of down leakage *Snaps are quite tight, and snapping or unsnapping the length of the bag can feel laborious in the middle of the night. *Stuffsack is bulky. I just stuff the Duo sans sack into a pack or pannier. *Encourages sleeping in and subsequent late starts.

Rated4out of5byfromgood, but needs improvementI, and my other half of orange, used it for a week long trek from East to West along Tonto trail in the Grand Canyon N.P. We thought it to be an economical alternative to $800 double sleeping bags, and it would allow us to utilize individual air pads we already had on hand. It comes with its own waterproof stuff sack, but the sack is too large and heavy. If you omit the sack, the double sheet + the comforter tips the scale at exactly 1300 grams (awesome). The comforter part is very well made, 850 fill down, high quality all around. It uses snaps to attach to the sheet to prevent your other half from claiming the whole thing, and to keep warmth in. The sheet designed is under-engineered however. It's supposed to keep two individual pads together, but it tries to accomplish it by only one cord, located mid-way down the length of the pad. That allows the pads to drift apart at top (heads) or bottom (legs). While this is fixable by one's own ingenuity, what's irreversible is the polyester used to create the sheet. It's cheap, it sticks to your skin, causes you to sweat, unpleasant to touch, and could be lighter or course. We hope the manufacturer will continue to improve this design, perhaps in another iteration this will prove to be an absolute winner. Our solution was to use pure silk sleeping bag liner. It's extra 247 grams (double size - which REI sadly does not carry at this time, maybe soon) and ads to warmth factor. Hats off to REI for making this product available. And cheers for recognizing that backpacking is fun for couples - and why separate the two in-sync-beating hearts. Go duo!
