When it's 110 in Arizona, you look for the least amount of clothing for your activities. I bought these because they are shorter then my regular PI bike shorts. And that's the only good thing I can say. The fabric makes you slide on the seat, the padding is inadequate - really felt the seat after 10 miles, they bunch up and they start chafing.

Pearl Izumi is the brand I normally wear, but these will be returned.
