Comments about Outdoor Research Axiom Rain Jacket - Men's:
I have been using this product skiing and climbing in the Cascades and Coast Range. It is my new favorite shell. It is light, packs easily, and is extremely breathable. I am able to do a lot of work without feeling like I am getting wet from the inside out. I have used it in drier snow conditions as well as wetter snow and rain without complaint. It goes with me everywhere.

Comments about Outdoor Research Axiom Rain Jacket - Men's:
This is a great, super lightweight shell. Did the 16 mile uphill hike into Chimney Pond on Katahdin in ME last month in single digit temps and was impressed at how well the jacket breathed. I've had other shells where this kind of exertion in cold weather would leave the inside of the garment covered in frost but the Axiom was bone dry. I'm 6' and 170 lbs and the L I got works well with the multiple winter layers I planned on having under it. For summer time it might be a tad big, but it will definitely be my go to cragging jacket - super compact in the bottom of my pack. Pockets could be a tad higher for full functionality with a harness on but they're still usable. The snug fit at the hips that some mention is a plus when you're climbing and want trim garments with no unnecessary bulk under your harness. Nice long sleeves that cover half of my hand with easy to use (with gloves) velcro tabs that allow you to wear your gloves over your sleeves or under.

Comments about Outdoor Research Axiom Rain Jacket - Men's:
No surprises with the fit. This is a fantastic jacket. I bought it mainly as a rain jacket for spring to fall hiking, but have ended up wearing it almost every day that I've ski toured this year.
I work in the snow, and this coat has stood up to abuse. Its lightweight, stuffs into its own pocket.
The axiom breathes super well and is very waterproof. This is a lightweight gore shell, so don't expect to be toasty without proper layers underneath.
My new favorite jacket.
