      At first I thought maybe I was sent the wrong product. I could not find a drawstring at the hem as described. Non existent, even when turned inside out and felt all over, at the knee, etc. I keep thinking maybe I'm missing it because I'm used to REI being awesome. They are however extremely comfortable and my range of movement is incredible. I could put my leg over my head (if I wanted to hurt myself). I thought maybe they would be immediately torn on a branch, but upon playing with it I think they might hold up to someone who sticks to hiking trails and doesn't venture into the brambles so much. I wish they were $50 so I would feel justified keeping them as an around-the-campsite pant because they are so comfortable and look so good on. They pick up lint and cat hair like nobody's business though so I can't convince myself to keep them and will exchange them for something not so sweatpants-esque.
