      Had two pair of high quality boots that were the wrong size prior to buying these - they ate my heels really bad. Able to pull some good trails in these despite the raw feet. They are like really supportive moccasins and are great for long day hikes. They aren't as wired as they look but I had to go down half a size to lose the heel slip. Plenty of room with a light hiking sock.
