    • Nylon/spandex blend has a soft hand yet is very abrasion resistant; fabric dries quickly and has a Durable Water Repellent coating to help shed moisture
    • With a UPF 50+ rating, fabric provides excellent protection against harmful ultraviolet rays
    • 2 hand pockets, 2 back pockets and a 3D zippered side pocket provide ample space for essentials; mesh pocket bags allow a bit of cool airflow

      I bought these pants after reading about the Kuhl Raptr convertible version in a popular backpacking publication. While REI to date isn't offering this version I thought I would give these a try. My experience with all the Kuhl pants I've purchased has been great and these are no exception. The Raptr pants fit and look like they were tailored specifically for me. Lightweight material that dries quickly and stretchy enough to allow great freedom of movement make them perfect for my hiking and climbing activities. I cannot think of one thing I don't like about these pants which is why I will continue purchasing Kuhl products from REI in the future.

      These are great pants and I would order more. But, I will have to restitch several sections in the seams before wearing again. This doesn't really make sense given the look, feel, comfort, and the fact that it is stretchy material and not too tight. Wore/washed less than 5 days before seams started showing evidence of ripping out.
