The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about prAna Monarch Convertible Pants - Women's Short:
I love Prana's monarch pants so much that this is my 6th pair! I wear them all the time, even to work (I work in an extremely casual environment). I bought this pair because I needed a new black pair (my old black pair was retired to gardening) and I bought them a size bigger than usual because I am pregnant. They have a drawstring waist and they are roomy even in the correct size so I think I'll be able to wear them well into the 2nd trimester. I also love them because I can wear them year-round. When it's extremely cold, they are roomy enough to allow longjohns underneath. When it's warm, they are lightweight enough to breathe and remain cool. And if it's hot you can convert them to capris. Overall, they are just plain awesome.

Comments about prAna Monarch Convertible Pants - Women's Short:
I love these pants and I now own three pairs. They are comfortable and the fabric is strechy which means I can rock climb in them with ease. They're also great for hiking in the summer because they wick away sweat. I am 5'4" and I usually wear a size 4, so the first pair I purchased were the regular size and they were definitely too long in the leg. The short ones fit perfectly, though.

Comments about prAna Monarch Convertible Pants - Women's Short:
I wear these pants to work, hiking, shopping, etc. They're very versatile in appearance and function. I love the zip-off length and how comfortable they are. I'm 5'5" and the regular length is too long, but the short is almost perfect. I consider them slightly too short, but not enough to be a problem. They're great!

Comments about prAna Monarch Convertible Pants - Women's Short:
Love the look and fit of the pants. It's so rare to come across a pair of pants that fit right on the hips, are the perfect length for my petite legs, and make my butt look great! I just wish they made more of these Monarch petites in different colors, other than black. The regular Monarch pants are sold in a nice shade of grey. Please consider offering that color in petite sizing.

Comments about prAna Monarch Convertible Pants - Women's Short:
I had the older version of these pants, before they made it in a short inseam. I loved them, but had to hem them, and they converted to strange capri pants, basically. Now that they come in a short inseam, and actually convert to more of a knicker length, they are perfect. More stretch than most hiking pants allowing for good flexibility on steep rocky trails, much more flattering/less baggy than other convertible pants, tough enough to scamble in, warm enough for cool nights in camp. I only wish the short inseam came in more colors... I'm in love!
