I do the majority of my running on the road so I do not log a ton of trail miles. I have run in these shoes only once. Like most Montrails they run small. I wear a size 10.5 in everything except addidas and I ordered size 11 in these and they fit fine - a little roomy. They are realtively lightweight and have some drop. So if you have not jumped on the minimalist bandwagon and want a decent trail shoe that is lightweight and can be used all purpose this shoe may be a good choice.
