I wanted a lighter weight boot for fairly flat hiking here in Florida, but still with good support. Unfortunately, they do not fit well around the ankles and rub painfully. I will have to pile on the moleskin and hope that in time they will loosen up and adapt to my feet.

I wore these boots to the desert for the first use. They were comfortable and easy to break in. I had a problem in sizing, they run about 1/2 size smaller. When I returned them, they issued a check for a refund instead of sending the larger size, so I had to order them again and pay before I got the refund.

These boots were comfortable from the first minute I put them on. Great fit, reasonable price. They were terrific for walks on the beach and kept my feet warm and dry. Also good for hiking in the Columbia Gorge this spring.
