The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about The North Face Mica FL 2 Tent:
I originally bought this tent based on a few of its strengths. It is very light weight for the space it provides, equiped with dual entry/vestibules, and seems well built. However, once I set it up in my living room, I was not convinced that the frame design wouldn't cause some issues down the road.
My main complaint is that the frame does NOT support the two corners of the tent by your feet. It transitions to a single ridge down the middle and will absolutely require two stakes at that end to even make the space useable/livable. Otherwise the walls just flop loosely towards the middle.
Over the years I have set up camp in numerous locations where the ground was so rocky that tent stakes were not an option on all corners of the tent. If that were to be the case, then this 2 person tent quickly becomes a 1 person tent down by your feet.
It is unfortunate that the frame design could use some rethinking, because I think the concept of this tent is heading in the right direction. If the frame would have just pegged out all 4 corners it would have been a keeper.

Comments about The North Face Mica FL 2 Tent:
This tent is light and great for being on the move. Easy to set up and tear down - the pole design makes setting up self-explanatory and it can go from fully set up to rolled away quickly. I would recommend this tent to anyone who is looking for a lightweight & sturdy piece of gear. It is a bit narrow, but I'm ok with that due to the weight (or lack thereof!).
