      I wore these pants on a snow camping trip near Snoqualmie Pass, WA. At times I was wading through waist deep powder snow and these pants stayed dry and comfy. They are stretchy so big steps on steep terrain are just as comfy as a flat trail or sidewalk. Never got too hot/sweaty even through terrain that was hard work because these pants breath very well.
