The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Brooks PureGrit 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Women's:
I use these shoes at least 2-4 per week. I use them solely for running and hiking. They are the best trail and track running/hiking shoe I've ever bought. They feel like running on clouds. Plus they are an awesome color and look good! I get a ton of complements! They do run a half size small, had to get a size 8 instead of 7 1/2, but that's not a big deal to me. So over all you need a good pair of hiking/ running shoes this is the perfect pair of shoes for you! Happy running and hiking!!!!!

Comments about Brooks PureGrit 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Women's:
I love my Brooks PureGrit 2s so much that I bought an extra pair to keep at my office for when I wanna do a workout there after work. I first had the PureGrit 1 and then when I put enough miles on those, I replaced them with the PG2s. LOVE the shoe - super comfortable, durable, great for both trail and road use, and have a great color scheme. My only potentially negative comment is that I found the sizing to be off - I am usually a women's 9.5, and *sometimes* I am a 10. But in Brooks PureGrit shoes I am a 10.5!! It took me a while to figure out why I had corns on the outside of my pinky toes, but I eventually figured out that it was because the shoe was too tight. Definitely try sizing up if you're not sure.

Great pair of minimalist shoes with just the right amount of cushion. Only down side is that they slip when wet.

Comments about Brooks PureGrit 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Women's:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Brooks PureGrit 2. This is my third pair of Brooks running shoes and they did not disappoint. I average about 30 miles/week on these shoes and use them for both trail and road running. Even though it is designed as a trail shoe, the majority of my miles are on paved paths. My only complaint is with regard to sizing. For some reason, I think this shoe runs a bit small. I am usually a Women's 9.5 but in Brooks I am a 10.5 apparently. The first pair I bought was a 10, and I have corns on my small toes from the rubbing - so if you think they might be a little snug, it might be worth going a half size up (or in my case, a full size).
Happy running!

Comments about Brooks PureGrit 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Women's:
I owned the initial Pure Grit model and was surprised that for a company like Brooks that is based in Seattle (where the conditions are often wet) how poor the traction was - I would slip even on sidewalks and it was supposed to be a trail shoe! Fortunately, they have updated the sole of the Pure Grit 2 with much better traction. Also, I found the elastic band at the top of the old model to be too tight and had to cut it out of the shoe but it feels much more comfortable on this model.

Comments about Brooks PureGrit 2 Trail-Running Shoes - Women's:
I love these shoes! I've been wearing them on a gym floor and wet astroturf and traction has been fantastic! I usually wear anywhere from a 9 to a 10. First I tried the 9 b/c I prefer a snug fit that doesn't allow my foot to slide around but I returned them for the 9.5 for some extra toe room. They're the perfect size but do run a little narrower than most tennis shoes which I like but if my foot were any wider I would have wanted to get a larger width. The elastic on the top keeps the tongue from slipping and though is tight at first, loosens up soon to fit foot perfectly! I wanted a minimalist shoe that was great for a lot of activities outside of just running and have been very pleased with my purchase!
