It seems regular Smartwool product which is a good quality, haven't tried it on my 17 months old boy. I've ordered 12-24m size but it seems socks will fit him on an upper range which means he already overgrown them. Since he is an average size kid I would advise to order this size if you are buying them for 12 month and if you have kid 18+ months consider getting the next size unless your kid has a smaller feet. I've ordered next size right away and either return these to the store or keep it as a present to the "younger" generation:)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
