I have this shirt in the color Mineral. I don't find it to be see through. I like the seam on only one shoulder. The v neck is nice - not too low. I love the really thin wool fabric. I wear either a large or x-large, the x-large fits me best in this shirt.

I bought this shirt in yellow which has different detailing than the other colors. I thought the gathering on one shoulder with the other colors was a little weird. The yellow has gathering details down the sides of the shirt which I think is flattering. The shirt fits great and is very soft and comfortable. I really like the wicking properties. My only complaint is the yellow color is very see-through. You can see every detail on whatever you are wearing underneath. I'm tempted to put on a camisol underneath but that would negate most of the wicking properties and add an extra layer that may not be wanted. I will try another color (weird gathering detail on the shoulder and all) as I really do like this shirt, but I would like slightly more modesty.

LOVE smartwool but I thought this was an odd design. If you look closely, only one shoulder has a seam. It doesn't look purposeful, it looks like an "irregular" item that messed up in manufacturing. I thought it looked odd.
Perhaps if you have a lopsided chest the seam would be good?
