The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
This device does not pair with iPhone 4S. The Polar web site gives no advice at all on this. I have tried all the work arounds on various forums I could find including replacing the battery.
It does still work with the stand alone Polar heart rate monitor but I could have gotten the cheaper sending unit if I didn't want the BlueTooth connectivity.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
Was really easy to link to both my iPhone Runtastic app and my Polar wrist monitor.
Helps me focus upon staying in the right zone while increasing my running distance. In just 3 months of use has been part of doubling my baseline running distance. Easy to use and so far the battery has lasted.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
Have been limited to indoor cardio because of injury and this monitor has been invaluable in helping me get back to exercising. No difficulty pairing with iPhone apps, it's worked flawlessly and is very comfortable.
My only concern is the spot where the clasp hooks onto the strap to secure it is getting a bit frayed, so we'll have to see how long that lasts. Overall an excellent exercise tool!

This pairs perfectly with my Iphone 5. It also works with the gym equipment-automatically. All I had to do was put it on. I have mainly used it with the polar app.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
Works well with our iphone 4s and 5. My wife wanted a heart monitor, but not the watch part after trying a few of those. She says it's comfortable and the there are a few apps out there depending on what you need it for, for her working out / Cardio. Those apps do a great job of showing your full workout and how long you were in certain zones. Buying one for myself now...a few bucks cheaper online elsewhere, however REI get my business for this one.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
I was concerned about whether this heart rate monitor would successfully pair and sync with my iPhone 5. It paired relatively easily and recorded my stats accurately. The key is knowing that your device is a bluetooth 4.0 smart ready phone and that you have the correct app to use it with. I recommend using the RunKeeper or Strava iOS apps. Additionally, you have to be wearing the monitor when you attempt to pair it AND pairing is done through the individual app settings and not the iOS settings app menu. Other than that, it is pretty light weight and easy to use.

Comments about Polar H7 Heart Rate Sensor:
It turns out that "Bluetooth" is not the same as "Bluetooth Smart Ready," and this heart rate monitor will only work on the following three smartphones: iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S III, and Droid RAZR. This information is nowhere on the external packaging, manual, or even the Polar website--I had to visit Bluetooth website to finally figure out why my new heart rate monitor wouldn't work on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Given that there are only eight devices in total that are currently Bluetooth Smart Ready, I think Polar should have at least provided a list of currently compatible devices on their website, if not their packaging. Also, REI incorrectly lists this device on this website as Bluetooth rather than Bluetooth Smart--please fix!
