I jog with my dog several times a week and these are my new favorite shorts. They're long enough that I don't feel self-conscious and they're so light-weight and comfortable. Too bad I have to wash them - I'd wear them for every jog! :)

I bought these shorts for running and trips to the gym. I recently ran a half marathon in them and found them to be very comfortable. I like longer shorts so these were a nice length. They are long enough so that when you sit on a bike your thighs don't rub on the seat. They dry quickly, breathe nicely, and have a thick waist band for little movement. I wish they were offered in additional colors with no pink accents. Yes, I am female but all work out clothes do not need pink in them! Other reviewers are correct, they aren't the most flattering short if you are looking for form fitting, but they have a lot of room in them for those of us who are going for comfort.

I'll be honest: I hate most running shorts. Between the unflattering cut, the unforgiving fabric, the useless pockets, and the super-short inseams, they are uncomfortable and impractical in every way. These are a breath of fresh air. They're made of stretch fabric, so they don't chafe and ride up like other shorts. They're lightweight enough for running in hot conditions, but long enough that I can wear them without feeling overexposed. They only have one pocket, but it's large enough for a set of keys, an ID, or a small MP3 player. Of course, all this comes at the expense of aesthetics: these are definitely the "mom jeans" of running shorts. But if you're a distance runner who logs serious mileage every week, chances are you probably don't care very much about that.
