    So far I really like this solar kit. It charges the lithium 'switch' battery pretty rapidly and used that to charge my cell phone and nano ipod within an hour. It's small and very portable for travel. I take the 'switch' with me sometimes when I've forgotten to charge my phone. I attach my phone, put it in my bag and viola! it's charged when I need it. This would be great for backpacking and camping too.
