Comments about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker:
I have worn a pedometer daily for years. I have tried multiple models and I think this is my favorite. It's small and discreet. It is simple to use and the web interface that it works with is straight forward. I like the graphs that show when you are most active (they can also send you weekly summaries). I have and will continue to recommed this to friends. The only thing I haven't quiet figured out is if the faces (smiling, grinning etc) correspond to anything.

I love my FitBit but it just died on me after only six weeks. I noticed that it wasn't coming to life yesterday as quickly as usual and today, it's adding my steps to yesterday's total. The FitBit website is pretty useless so I checked the comments on another retailer's website and was appalled to see all the reports of quality issues. Too bad - I really enjoyed using it.

Comments about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker:
Easy to setup and use. It really motivates me to talk walk breaks during the day, park further away from the building, and generally keep it moving so I don't sit for hours. It took a little while to get my stride setup so the step count is accurate. Would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this Item for my mother in law and she loves it. From her reviews and the time I had to use it performs as advertised and is a well rounded product. My wife and I will be purchasing her the scale that works with the watch reviews to come.

Comments about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker:
This is a really good health-tracking tool. The app that you use with it on your smartphone is great--it records the steps and calories that the fit bit device gathers during the day and also enables you to enter your food and water consumption so that altogether you can keep track of your fitness goals and progress. The app is easy to use and attractive.

Got the fitbit zip for my wife to help with weight loss in conjunction with weight watchers. The unit is a great addition with with easy to use online tracking software and is free to use. Gives you daily goals to strive for. A good product for snyone from wanting to lose weight to your avid workout runner.

Comments about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker:
The Fitbit seems to work well accurately counting steps no matter where I put it on my body. However, to count my cycling strokes, it needs to be on the leg, like in the bottom of a pocket. Even though it is only measuring up/down of one leg, it is counting two "steps" per pedal rotation (yea!). It must have pretty sophisticated internal software to understand what I am doing and count everything right, regardless of where I have clipped it, or what angle it is at, or even if it is loose in the bottom of my pocket. Synching works well, too, although you need to use the Bluetooth v3 USB dongle that comes with it if your computer/phone/pad/whatever is not using the latest version of Bluetooth. Surprisingly unobtrusive. Certainly the best pedometer I've ever owned, but also by far the most expensive (and thus a 4 star instead of a perfect 5).

Comments about Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker:
The fitbit zip is used in conjunction with the fitbit website for maximum utility. You can join and track for free but if you want more advanced charting and reports you need to become a premium member for about $50 per year. I have one and I bought my wife one of these and we use it to keep track of our exercise and food intake. It is motivating to see the progress thru the course of a day. The unit does a good job of computing your distance and calorie burn based on your height weight and age. There is also a chance to finetune this online. It has a pretty good database of common foods or you can use the nutrition label to create your own custom foods to keep track of carbs, fats and protein. Sometimes it takes a while to update the iPhone app but all in all this is a useful tool.
