Comments about Mountain Hardwear Yuma Convertible Pants - Women's:
These worked great on our 4 day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon. The only downside was they stretched out a bit after 4 full days of wear without washing/drying. They were comfortable, breathable, and worked well otherwise.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Yuma Convertible Pants - Women's:
These are a great pair of pants for hiking! I've been searching for a pair for a while now and I all the other ones that I've tried out are just too tight around the thighs and butt. I'm the kind of girl that likes to be comfortable while hiking, I'm not trying to look super cute. These let you move freely and they are also cute so it's a 2 in 1. They are also pretty durable. I wore them backpacking in Sequoia National Park and I had to climb over a couple of pretty large trees and they're are no tears or holes in them. Overall, these are extremely comfortable, breathable, and durable. I'm definitely saving up for a second pair.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Yuma Convertible Pants - Women's:
I hike at least 3 days a week. Needed a comfy hiking pant for warmer weather that didn't look like high water/high waisted old lady pants. These pants were perfect. Even my 20 something daughter wants a pair. I had to get 1 size SMALLER than I normally wear in jeans & they fit perfectly. Did not shrink either.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Yuma Convertible Pants - Women's:
Hands down the most comfortable pair of convertible pants I've ever purchased.
I tried on every pair of convertible pants available at the REI in Asheville (Spring 2013) and these pants were the only ones that fit properly (weren't extremely baggy or too tight), looked good, and were durable. I hike regularly (live 20 minutes off the AT) and wore these four times in the first week of owning--I never want another kind of hiking pants.
The microfiber liner on the waist is super soft & does help with chafing from a pack. I also love the drawstring closure on the waist. Instead of forcing a button over, the pants are easily adjustable--and, let's be honest, we all fluctuate a little day to day. Plenty of zippers (rear pockets, legs, front pockets) and it's easy to zip on and off the legs. Overall, an amazing pair of pants (even wore them casually with a t-shirt out to dinner) & I should have bought two or three pairs instead of just the one.
