I am a mountain biker, but actually use these shoes primarily for my 20 mile round trip commute to work on a cyclocross bike. I could not be happier with them. They are true to size, completely comfortable, well-made, and seem very durable. I've been using them for 2 months now and don't have any complaints. In fact, the fit is so perfect it's easier than ever to snap in and out of my pedals.
I can even wear these shoes at work if I don't feel like bringing extra shoes with me - the metal does not scrape the ground while walking. I've worn them with different types of socks (from thin to thick) and have never had so much as any rubbing or discomfort. A great purchase!

These shoes are lovely to look at, seem just right functionally, but the construction is very badly done. The left shoe was the worse, with the material inside at the top raw and unfinished, with hard rough materials poking through that rubbed badly and tore my thin sock. When I wore them without socks for a quick walk around the room, it rubbed my skin raw. the right one was less so, but still badly done. I returned them and don't want them replaced.
