At first, it seems like a lot of money for a pillow. But after you use it, it is worth it. I originally bought this for my wife so that she would stop bringing her full-size pillow along for camping. I use it on all my trips and had to buy her another one because I will not give it up.
The most frustrating thing about camping/backpacking is not sleeping well. I think it is worth the extra money to ensure a good nights rest. This pillow is better than my pillow at home! It actually packs decently small and you can just throw it in your sleeping bag stuff sack to minimize space. It also comes with a washable and very soft pillowcase.
I have used the thermarest pillow, which is also good, but this one is sublime. I highly recommend it.
