The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Endeavor Pants - Women's:
I bought these last year and they fit great. I didn't stretch mine out. I only used them a few times because I was very busy trying to graduate college. So, I barely wore them and washed as recommended. Last year's had enough room in the thigh to step high. I tried the new ones on today in the store, and they are much slimmer in the thigh. The waist fit the same. I would recommend that REI make the thigh roomier so that we have good range of motion for hiking uphill.

I really loved these pants - the first pair I got was a size 6, and I used it to go hiking in the rain and snow. They kept me dry and surprisingly warm, but they were a bit short from waist to crotch so I switched to a size 8. These fit better and held up on hot urban hike and were great for walking through weeds.
However, the back pockets won't stay fastened, and the hook part of the velcro is exposed whenever I move, catching on to everything - my backpack, my office chair, my base layers. It's really annoying and because of this, I'm going to return it. If you don't care about that, then they are really great pants.

Great pants. Comfortable, love the inside string adjustment-so much better than a belt. Other reviews mentioned the rear pockets come open so I sewed in a larger velcro which seemed to do keep them closed. More pockets would be helpful, I like a lot of them.

Comments about REI Endeavor Pants - Women's:
I bought these pants specifically for hiking during the shoulder season where the temperatures and conditions can vary dramatically in a day.
The pants are heavy enough to keep you warm on a cold day (as long as you're moving), but also breathe well on warm days.
I really appreciate the ankle adjustment feature- it allows you to tighten the leg opening around your boot which keeps the extra material out of the mud when hiking or out of your way when climbing.
My only quibble (and it's a small one) is that the pockets are a bit small and the back pockets have a velcro closure that pulls open if you bend over, so they are not secure. But if you usually bring a backpack along (which I do) then this doesn't really matter.
I usually have to wear petite sizes, but found that the petite version of this pant has a shortern inseam than I'm used to, so I went with the regular fit (I'm 5'3ish" with a 28" inseam).

Comments about REI Endeavor Pants - Women's:
These are nice pants. Only two cons. First, they're the kind of fabric that makes noise when you walk (unless you have toothpick legs, which I don't). Not a problem hiking, but since I'm fortunate enough to be able to wear them to work (but in a really quiet environment), people can hear me coming a mile away.
The BIG complaint is the back pockets. They aren't stitched down or anything and are really light-weight mesh material. They constantly bunch up. And somehow there's no give, so the velcro closure on the back pocket comes open whenever you bed over, and the pocket slides, necessitating more fiddling. Maddening!
Best thing is the leg pocket. It's perfect for a cell phone--you can discreetly remove it during a boring meeting and text under the table! It's true...
They're good, but for the price, they should be perfect.

I ordered these online for a camping/traveling/hiking trip I am planning this summer. I am 5'7", 145# and have an athletic build. I was attracted to these pants for the adjustable cuffs, material, and pockets. When I tried them on they were very slim fitting and tight in the lower hips. They were not going to be comfortable for long plane rides, hiking, or relaxing around camp. The fit was not very attractive either. The material was nice and they looked durable. I ended up returning them. I would recommend these if you are small and very slim.

Comments about REI Endeavor Pants - Women's:
I needed some cold weather hiking pants for a backpacking trip to Big Bend. I knew I would be doing bushwhacking in some pretty harsh terrain (cactus, lecheguilla, cat's claw) and didn't want to tear up some super expensive hiking pants. I bought these hoping they would stand up to the abuse, and they did that and more. I got stabbed, scratched, and bruised, but these pants still look brand new.
The zipper pockets are very useful and secure. These pants are water resistant, but we didn't get any rain so I don't know how they would do in a torrential down pour. I just spilled water on them repeatedly and it beaded and slid off. They did keep me quite warm in some cold wind. The pant leg is long enough to cover the top of my boots which kept dirt and grass out of my boots very well.
The only thing I would change about these pants is that I wish the crotch gusset was more breathable.
