The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
REI Endeavor Pants - Women'sis rated3.6429out of5by28.
Rated3out of5byJfromUncomfortable waistAll parts of the pants are cumfy except the waist. It has absolutely no stretch and it's cut as thought it is for old fashioned "fitted" pants with a high waist the "raise" is below waist so the waist ends up being tight and wanting to go up near the belly button. Bad design.

Rated3out of5bywildkatcofromNice, but...I bought these pants over a month ago for my trip to Japan. I was looking for stretch, wind and water resistance, comfort, and easy care. I wore these pants for most of our trip and they repelled the mist and rain, as well as being stretchy enough to wear comfortably while walking all day. They washed up easily and dried overnight on a hanger. As noted by another reviewer they are made of a noisy fabric, but I knew that when I bought them. I liked the small thigh pocket, it was exactly the right size for train and bus tickets and a bill or two - but nothing else. Certainly not a good place for a cell phone. My only complaint is the velcro used on the back pockets. It's worse than useless. It's too small to hold the pocket shut, so the pocket lining shows. On my black pants it was unsightly, so I wore my shirts and camis untucked. The velcro is applied so that the hooks, not the loops, are facing away from the body and all my shirts and camis are damaged from it. I'll be taking the velcro off and coming up with a different fastening technique, or just sewing the pockets shut. I didn't use them for anything since the velcro was ineffective at protecting anything in those pockets. I won't buy another pair since the damage to my other clothes made them an expensive option.

Rated1out of5bynospringchickenfromREI Buyer, these pants are not up to parI have four pair of your old Endeavor pants and am still wearing them though they're getting a little tattered. I wore them all the time, because they looked sleek enough for town and stood a beating hiking. Then you changed them- sigh- cut is completely different and tabs at cuff don't appeal. Why change a good thing? You used to have a great women's shirt with snaps that you discontinued too. The North Face pants meant to replace them are AWFUL! Just returned a pair. Sleazy fabric-

Rated3out of5bylkfromBring back the old Endeavor pantIt's a good product, but please bring back the endeavor pant from a few years back with no zipper & velcro at the hem. I won't buy again until you eliminate these items. Sorry.

Rated5out of5bykhapfromwear them all the timeI throw these on all the time. I walk to work and in this winter (3 big snowstorms in the last week in CT), I need something I can wear for the walk and then quickly change out of. And they are great for shoveling. I imagine I'll wear them for a hike when I can finally see a trail.

Rated5out of5byBeJoyfulfromBring the ORIGINAL style back, please!!!I love the ORIGINAL style in this pant. It was perfect for hiking, travel, and work!
I have one pair, bought back in Sept. 2012, and I wear them year round all the time. They are windproof which is perfect for our windy springs while working at school, especially for outdoor duties, and dressy enough for our dress code. I get lots of compliments on them.
I wore them for 3 weeks while traveling in Scotland and Ireland in October with long underwear beneath. They were perfect for hiking in all day then heading into town for a nice dinner.
I wore them on a cruise. Again, perfect for hiking and playing on excursions, then back on the ship and didn't have to worry about changing into something dressier.
The ORIGINAL style has 3 great front zippered pockets that are quietly stylish and very functional. No back pockets for a dressier, smoother look. The smooth pant leg has a wonderful inside cord at the ankle that can be snugged up around your boot for hiking if needed; otherwise it looks like a casual dress pant.
The NEW style has much more of an outdoor adventure look to it with its zipper and Velcro hem opening for boots and its articulated knee seam. While nice features, these make it loose its work/travel/casual dress pant capability. The new style also has back welt pockets that do not zip close and the front thigh pocket is a less useful, in my opinion, inside pocket. In the ORIGINAL style pant this pocket is a sleek outside non-bulky pocket, perfect for a cell phone or maps.
Please, do not discontinue the ORIGINAL style!
Keep both styles!
Bring the ORIGINAL style back and in many colors... black, grey, navy, brown, khaki...
Tall sizes would also be very nice!!!
I hope I have convinced the powers that be, to bring the old style back. I need several more pairs!
