Comments about Sugoi Speedster2 Hoodie - Women's - 2011 Closeout:
One of my friends owns this hoodie, and I snapped it up when I saw it on sale here at the REI Outlet because I'd been envying the nifty technical features. This is a great running hoodie for the PNW's cool, damp winters. I've been wearing it as a solo layer in 35-50 degree F weather. The fleeced inner fabric is very soft. I think it would work in slightly cooler weather, too, with an additional baselayer. The hood stays on nicely when you run, and the mitten cuffs are very handy. I love not having to worry about carrying gloves. The side pocket is perfect for keys or other small items, and the stretch of the fabric keeps them from jangling or jostling. The contents feel secure even though the pocket is not zippered. My only complaint is that I wish it had a half zip at the neck. The hoodie can be almost too warm once you've been running for a while, especially if it's not an exceptionally cold day. I believe the newer version of this hoodie (the Speedster3) has a zip, but the mitten cuffs were dropped in favor of longer sleeves with thumbholes. It's a great deal at the outlet price.

Been running in the 50's with it over a t-shirt. Breathes and fits so well you feel nothing. Flattering cut. Own 3.
