Comments about The North Face Reversible Down Jacket - Men's:
I purchased this jacket in a pinch, needing something to use for skiing. It's very light, warm, and can be compressed to fit just about anywhere. I've also worn it in very cold weather with not many layers beneath it. Worked like a charm.

Comments about The North Face Reversible Down Jacket - Men's:
I bought the jake blue/bolt blue reversible jacket as a liner jacket. This jacket is really neat; it is warm without being bulky. It is very stylish too. I can wear it as my liner or just by itself. It has been fantastic on really cold mornings in New Mexico. I love this jacket.

Comments about The North Face Reversible Down Jacket - Men's:
I bought this jacket (Deep Water Blue/Fiery Red) about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I've always been skeptical of down jackets because I've experienced feathers "leaking" out or the stems poking me but now I realize that I've just bought inferior products.
I use this jacket for general winter weather but the kicker being that I mostly bike around my city to get from place to place. Thankfully, I purchased it at the right time since the weather following Hurricane Sandy has been in the low to mid-40s (which is cold for biking). But this jacket protects and keeps me incredibly warm - it feels like a body heater. I sometimes only wear a t-shirt underneath and by the time I get to my destination (anywhere from 3 - 10 miles on a bike), I'll be sweating underneath (still in 40º weather with strong winds). I also store a beanie in one pocket and gloves in the other at all times just in case it gets colder than it already is. It has rained a couple of times in the past couple weeks and the jacket has repelled water but I'd imagine it wouldn't be great if it pours. Of course, it keeps me warm while walking around during windy/cold weather. It also fits very well. I'm normally a mens fitted small and it fits me perfectly.
I can't pinpoint anything not so great about the jacket. It doesn't have a rain hood but it isn't advertised as such. An occasional tiny feather will come out but nothing too concerning.
The colors pop, the fit is great, it keeps me incredibly warm in the cold, and looks good. And it doesn't restrict my movement when I bike. Not much more you can ask for in a winter down jacket.
