My daughter is a slender (30lb/ 38" tall) 3.5 y-o and this fit her very well. Usually things are big on her and this seemed fine to me. We can layer it with a purple LL Bean fleece she has or it stands well on its own. Not sure why the other review says it is huge because honestly we usually have that problem and did not with this. Love the print--feminine without being that desperately bright pink color that clothes seem to be. I love it and so does she!

Ordered this for my 3 yr old toddler who is tall and slender and wears her size well... this vest is a poor fit and not actually a regular size at all, it would fit a really overweight child just fine unfortunately.
