The opening on this boot is extremely narrow, unless you have a foot that is super flexible and very skinny, it will take you a long time to get this boot on. I could only get it on one foot and once it was on, it was very tight around the ankle, now I don't have skinny ankles, but this boot has no give at all in the opening that you have to slide your foot through and because of that is tight on the ankle once you get it on. (if you can get get it on.) i do not recommend this boot. Merrell messed up on this one!

Bought to use as quick put on and go boots, for driving kids to school, shoveling snow, walking around. I've damaged wool and other socks attempting to get these boots on in my typical size. Going up a size won't help--once they're are on, they fit. Wish I'd returned them, because they didn't loosen up over time.
