The Black Diamond Carbon Megawatt is a lightweight, touring-specific version of the legendary Megawatt ski that's been slaying deep powder run for years.

  • Part of the FreeTour series, the Carbon Megawatt blends alpine-inspired performance with backcountry efficiency for use in deep powder
  • Rockered tips, semi-rockered tails and 120mm and 125mm waists provide a stable feel as you float through the soft snow
  • Formula One Technology™ with carbon fiber reinforcements features 3 ribs that run the length of the ski to deliver liveliness and power for hard-charging skiing
  • Light paulownia wood cores are surrounded by Torsion Box construction and reinfoced with carbon fiber for excellent torsional power and energy pop without a lot of weight
  • Torsion Box technology wraps fiberglass around the core like a burrito
  • Stainless-steel notches at the tails keep climbing skins (sold separately) securely attached and centered
  • Base or topsheet color may vary from online photo
  • High-speed sintered bases on the Black Diamond Carbon Megawatt skis feature a cross-hatch stone grind for the best balance of durability, glide and maintenance
