I decided to buy this jacket after purchasing the North Face Apex Bionic. I loved the outside fabric on the Apex bionic for the transitional seasons (rainy or windy days/spring/fall) and saw that this was also waterproof. It is important for me to have waterproof jackets so i don't get soaked while i commute via train and walking. Apex bionic made me warm too quickly when i wear it while i walked, so this jacket was perfect! fabric is similar outside to the apex bionic but inside does not have the lining, just feels like peach fuzz micro fleece. the best part is that it has pockets inside aside from the outside ones! definitely a winner with the moto-cross design during windy days! the only con i believe is the sizing. i am 5'1, 120 lbs and my chest size is rather large so i had to get a medium even if i fit a small in all other North Face jackets (i also had to order medium in Apex bionic). It also gets a bit tight when i sit down at times and I think it is related to the fabric not being so stretchy. The sleeves are also a bit long for me since i am so petite. Otherwise, favorite jacket at this moment and when i wear it in my unit, everyone asks me where i got it!
