    The Voile Charger skis combine early-rise tips with traditional camber underfoot for excellent performance in powder and the ability to carve hard snow on your way back to the car.

    • Lightweight construction makes the Chargers a good choice for tours in deep snow; aspen wood cores are wrapped in fiberglass that is woven with carbon for a light, snappy feel
    • Early-rise tips help you float through the deep powder on the descent and ease trail breaking in deep snow during the ascent
    • Traditional sidecut underfoot lets you carve turns on firm snow as you make your way out of the woods
    • Tails of the skis turn up just a touch and are compatible with the tail attachments of most climbing skins (sold separately)

    Great all mountain fat ski choice. The 181 cm weighs in at 8.2 lbs. I skiied them in moguls, trees, powder, crusty mixed resort snow, and found them capable and fun in variety of conditions.

    There are a number of new skis in this category, but I think the Voile Charger may be the best value. They certainly have a strong following among the tele crowd.

    As with all the fat skis, make sure you have very effective boot fit to help pop through those turns, and an effective binding.

    I skied them with Hammerhead bindings, and very sound Scarpa T1 fit w heat molded Intuition & foot beds. With this binding and boot rig, I thought these skis handled a wide variety of conditions extremely well.

    But you're not going to like these skis with sloppy boot fit.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
