This was my first merino base layer other than socks and I fell in love with it. It has the perfect balance of warmth and breathability for any weather. I went and bought a second one... then a third one but this last one is a mid weight T-zip and now I'm in process of switching to all merino base layers.
I wish they were cheaper but if you get them on sale you will never look back.

I got this on REI Outlet and I have used it on a few backpacking trips. It is a nice long sleeved shirt that I use for a base layer. Breathable and not itchy.
