Great sweater if you can find it on closeout from REI. I wear it mostly to work and casual get togethers and everyone thinks it looks sharp. I have sensitive skin but it's not itchy like most wool products because if the fineness of the merino wool compared to most other blends.
One word of caution, this is a relaxed fit so go a size down if you are used to wearing any baselayers made by smartwool. I'm 5'10" 165 lbs and I had to go with a small even though I wear medium in all other smartwool shirts. I usually only wear a tank top underneath it too.

Bought an XL, the chest and inseam are good on the sweater, but the sleeves are short.
I am 6'8, athletic build, 6'10 wingspan.
This is a nice looking sweater and has a nice thickness to it.
The Smartwool sweaters DO NOT have an athletic cut that I have purchased thus far.
