Comments about K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Bindings - 2012/2013:

I wasn't a big fan of this binding to begin with. The quick access, is slower than a strap binding. The adjustment isn't always easy, and the toe straps look like they were repurposed from a different binding.

I have about 20ish days of inbounds riding on the CTX....which is when wire that holds the whole thing together snapped. You'd think that K2 would acknowledge this serious defect in design. Instead, dealing with their warranty is like pulling teeth.

Pro: canted foot bed is nice

Comments about K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Bindings - 2012/2013:

Awful. Just awful. Let's face it, there's not a whole lot new in bindings. These looked interesting, so I gave them a go. By the end of Day 1, I was shopping for replacements. I got the Rome 390 and I'm never looking back. For context, I've been riding for 21 years. Here are the problems:
1. Release was often VERY difficult to open and close. I usually had to open the straps instead.
2. Painful pinching of my heels by the highbacks when I did manage to close the release.
3. Very inconsistent feel/strap tension around my feet each time I stepped in. I often had to adjust the straps.
4. Edge-to-edge response was not as crisp as I like, particularly engaging toe-side turns.

By lunch, I resorted to using them as a regular 2-strap binding. The next day, I was on the Romes. Don't waste your time.
